Germany

Ah, how beautiful. The German flag waving at sunset. It's not really beautiful, I just felt like saying so.

The lovely, beer-ridden country.
Germany is located in Central Europe, bordering the Baltic Sea and the North Sea, between the Netherlands and Poland, and is south of Denmark.
Its population consists of roughly 82,369,548 people.
Their religion is made up of Protestant 34%, Roman Catholic 34%, Muslim 3.7%, unaffiliated or other 28.3% .
The capital of Germany is Berlin. The country is a federal republic. The main currency is a euro, though some still carry around the former currency deutsche mark.
Unsurprisingly, the Birth rate is around 8.18 births/1,000 population (2008 est.) and the Death rate is around 10.8 deaths/1,000 population (2008 est.)
The life expectancy at birth for the total population: 79.1 years. The life expectancy for males is up to 76.11 years, and up to 82.26 years for females. (2008 est.)
Some famous people from Germany are Adolph Hitler, Albert Einstein, Claudia Schiffer( a famous model), and Levi Strauss. Some of germany's famous landmarks are the berlin wall, the jewish museum berlin, and museum island. Some famous historical events include the rise of Adolph Hitler to power, and how his hatred for jews led to the Holocaust, and the defeat of the Nazis and liberation of the remaining concentration camp survivors by the U.S. Allied forces.

Interesting beginning..... I can definitely feel the sarcasm. It is sad to me that so many of the major European countries are abandoning their money and going to the Euro. That isn't really who they are. I didn't know so many of the religion of Germany was Protestant.

Like LeeAnna I have german in me to. I have be called a Nazi due to the fact i have German in me. And i don't see that Hitler would be famous. Yeh we might talk about him but we are talking about how mean he was and the way he treated the jews. If that is famous in your book I am sorry for you.
