KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK

Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park is an 1978 film. This movie is where KISS tries to stop the evil scientist from taking over the world with colon robots. The scientist even tries to make KISS colons. The scientist tries to rule the world starting at the KISS concert at an amusement park ,but KISS ends up saving the day.

This 1970's film might have been good in its day ,but when I watched it it was stupid! It was one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen. My mom told me about it. I wanted to watch it because it was KISS. I don't recommend this film. If you are a KISS fan I still don't recommend it.

For those of you who don't know, I am an avid film collector. I love everything there is about classic movies. The stories and the acting were so much better than they are now. In my opinion, very few of the current modern day movie stars could make it back then. I have dabbled into acting a little bit. Part of me still wants to play on stage. I was drawn into the world of acting by watching the greats.

These films are fantastic for many reasons. Marlon Brando's performance as Terry Malloy in "On the Waterfront" is the greatest single performance that any lead actor has ever done. He owns that screen when he is on it. Jimmy Stewart should have won a Best Actor for "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington." His loss is unbelievable. His performance teaches a lesson about the quality of the human spirit. There has been few films that have reached into the minds of its audiences with an important and relevant history lesson than "The Grapes of Wrath." That movie makes the Great Depression come to life. "Gone With the Wind" was made on a huge budget and is a long film, but it is excellent. The story is nearly flawless. "Casablanca" will live on with its script, story, and characters. It is truly a great film.





Rebel Without a Cause made James Dean a star and spoke for a whole generation. It stills speaks now. "The Manchurian Candidate" is the ultimate scare picture. It was made at a time in which Americans deeply feared the threat of Communism. This film has the viewer suppose that Communists try to infiltrate the government. "Vertigo" is the ultimate mystery. Nobody is who they seem to be. This is probably Alfred Hitchcock's best work. "The Defiant Ones" was the first major film to deal head on with the socially taboo topic of race relations. Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier are prisoners that have escaped and are chained together. They have to face racism head on. "North By Northwest" is the most complete film that Hitchcock made with Cary Grant. The action scenes are great, and this film will make you think twice about crop dusters!

FINDING NEMO

Finding Nemo is a Disney movie that was made in 2003. Finding Nemo is an underwater animation. The father is a clownfish and his son, Nemo, ends up lost. Then his father most travel to Sydney to find Nemo. On his trip to find his son he meets a few friends. At the end everything is ok. The son and father are reconnected at the end of the movie.

I hated this Disney movie. I was so disappointed. I normally love Walt Disney's movies. When Finding Nemo came out in theaters many people told me what a wonderful animation is was. Finding Nemo even won an Oscar and another 34 wins. My question is how and why? This movie is very anti-climatic I thought. The film makers kept building it up to the point where you were expecting a great finish. At the end all that happens is that they meet each other in the middle of no where. It just ends. They just see each other and that's it. I couldn't believe it. I have never been so mad about a Disney movie before.

I can't stand people who wear such tight clothing. I wear it some times but it's not that tight. Why would you want to dress like that. Boys think that you are easy and will hit on you all the time. I know that you are not suppose to care what other people think but come on. That is just to much of skin to be seeing trough your top.

This is a music video by a band that I quite fancy-Staind. They began their band after Aaron Lewis(vocalist) met Mike Mushok(guitarist) at a christmas party in New England. They soon after recruited John Wysocki( drummer) and a bassist who ended up leaving the band later on.

I like the way the song sounds, and I really like Staind, so I chose this video, mainly because some other songs that I like contain cuss words, and I think that censoring ruins the song because it takes part of it away.

Dutch Looneys

The Dutch have came forward and said that the world is going to end in 2012 and all technology will shut down and be worthless. Although some people believe them, most people consider them crazy. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson criticized them for being a bunch of looneys. The reason is because the Mayan calender ends in 2012. They should have made a longer calender because in 2012 I will be 20 and not old enough to chug booze.

Non-Typical Game Cart

Have you ever killed a deer way back in the middle of no where far away from the road, and had to drag a deer a long ways. With this cart a person can drag a deer and not use so much energy or get wore out.

This cart all you do is put your deer on the cart then you can pull it as far as you want to without getting wore out. it has an area of 20'' x 52'' and bass 20''. The wheel height is 16". It weighs 22 pounds. It has two shoulder straps to make it easy to carry. This is so nice and convenient and lite weight. Witch makes it easy o go anywhere. You can go up hills and down easier than you can imagine. It costs $ 149.88 but if you go now you can get it for $129.88.

I would love to have one of these for myself. I have had my buddies get some and they love them I got to use one at one time, and it was awesome. It spoiled me.

The NBA Draft

I feel the need to write about this, because as a sports fan, you never know who is going to be a huge success. Some college stars are awful when they go professional. This seems like the case especially if you are a Duke player. On the flipside, there are players that were mediocre and average in college, but tear it up in the NBA. This is why any draft held in any sport is such a gamble. I do agree with the sports authorities that the NBA is the safest bet for General Managers and Team Owners. The draft itself is a sports tradition in every sport as every team tries to get the leg up on each other.

The drafting process in sports brings about such excitement for sports fans everywhere. I love watching and following drafts in every sport. The football draft is one that I never miss. I watch it with one of old college roommates and great friends, and we actually discuss and dissect every pick. The NBA draft is to tough for the players, because NBA rosters are not very large. Plus, Europeans and other stars from around the world are able to declare for the draft as well. A player has to be really good just to make it into the NBA. After that, you are guaranteed nothing.

Ashlee and Pete Wentz.

On May 17 Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz [of Fallout boy] were married. Dad Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, Jessica Simpson served as maid of honor. Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer. That is funny. Their theme was "Alice in wonderland." Lot's of people showed up and danced the night away. They had a photo booth for the guest book, that sounds awesome! I shall have one at my wedding too. XD They got married in her parents back yard. The set up was really nice. They had lots of black and red in their wedding. Two of my favorite colors! She was all in white, and the bridesmaid's and groomsmen were in black. It was so pretty.


I think this couple is sooo adorable together. I've liked Ashlee since she came out, and I've ALWAYS thought Pete was extremely HOT! So, since they are both gorgeous, I think they deserve each other. XD

EAGLE EYE

Shia Labeouf returns with Disturbia director D.J. Caruso in Eagle Eye. Eagle Eye is a new movie that will be coming out in theaters Friday, September 26th, 2008. Shia Labeouf plays a young slacker whose twin brother died mysteriously. Rachel (Monaghan) finds that her child is missing. Soon these two strangers come together realizing that the both of them have been framed as terrorists. Before they know that they have been framed a mysterious woman who they have never met knows their every move. The mysterious woman is using them to further her plan in an political assassination. Labeouf and Monaghan have to work together in order to outwit the woman before she kills them.

I want to see this movie. It looks really good. I think Shia Labeouf is a good actor even though he has a bad name. Labeouf has come a long way since his years on the Disney channel. Transformers helped him out a lot and he just keeps getting bigger in his movie career.

girls and sports

The boys have every sport that they want and people follow it all the teams on TV. But when it comes to girls its basically who cares right? No that is wrong. Girls are just as good as the boys. No matter what the age. We all play. Just like the way that our Football coach tells us girls that we are non-athletes. But I don't think that he has realized that our girl teams are just as good as his boys teams. Our softball team has went to state the last 4 years and no one else has gone to state. And the last time the football team went to state it was 1994. I was 2 years old. And the baseball team is doing just as good as the softball team.Theo they haven't been to state yet their time is coming. Our girls basketball team is doing just as good as the boys team is. And our Volleyball girls are doing just as good as the football team. Also our track teams are equal in how they are doing. So what is the difference? People still believe that girls are just suppose to cheer on the teams not play on them. So if we live in a society were every thing is equal then why are our girls teams not played on TV as much as our boys teams and not respected like the boy teams? Whats the difference?

SlipKnot

SlipKnot is an American metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. The current members are Sid Wilson, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomas, and Corey Taylor. They are recognized as one of the pioneering bands in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal.
The band formed in late 1995 and underwent several line-up changes following the independent release of their debut album Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat. in 1996. Their first studio-produced album, Slipknot, was released in 1999. Followed by two further studio albums, Iowa in 2001 and Vol 3: (The Subliminal Verses) in 2004. They are expected to release their fourth album, All Hope Is Gone on August 26, 2008.


Slipknot is a good band, I've listened to them for almost as long as i have Maximum The Hormone. My favorite album is Vol 3: (The Subliminal Verses). My favorite song is Before I Forget. They got nominated for 6 Grammy Awards and only won one of them. They should have gotten more.

He dose deserve this award no matter what because he makes all of his own tricks and every one try's but they say its to hard and they can not keep doing it the same way. And in my eyes he will be the best and the name of my award that i am making up is the best of the best award. Hotel Rwanda.

Hotel Rwanda is a true story of a man who fought impossible odds to save everyone he could and created a place where hope survived. How is this you ask? Well, the answer is simple when the world closed its eyes, he opened his arms. He did every thing he could to help the people.

It was mainly about the manager of a European-owned hotel in Rwanda, who created a secret refugee camp for the Tutsi people during the brutal genocide committed against them by the Hutu people in. His helped to save 1200 lives out of close to a million who were killed! Now, that may not seem like alot, but to those 1200 people, he was their savior!

I actually change my mind on this movie. I thought that is was really boring and such, but once I actually got into it, was wasn't that bad. Paul was a real genuine guy, and I respect him deeply for that. If I got a chance to meet the real Paul, I'd tell him how great of a hero he is.

I thought the movie was really touching. The last time I was forced to see it, I didn't really pay attention because, I was being a teenager, but getting the second chance, it seemed better.

AWARDED

Many awards are given each year to several different people. Awards are given for many different reasons. If I could give out one award to anyone it would have to be to Lucille Ball. Lucy is the one that deserves as many awards as possible.

Lucille Ball was a wonderful actress. She did great things in her career. Before the accident-prone red head became an actress, she got into modeling before the age of 22. Some people call Lucy "The Queen of Comedy". Others say that she was "The First Lady of Television." Lucy was the first woman to own her own film studio. She wasn't only an actress and model. She was a wife and a mother to two children. Lucy had movies such as The Long, Long Trailer. Sitcoms such as I Love Lucy and The Lucy Show. She was on the big screen and the radio. Lucy wasn't always the outgoing one in front of the camera. She did some behind the seems work too. Ms. Ball was a producer for a while on different things. The first place she started her producing was for I Love Lucy.

Lucille Ball has made hundreds of people laugh including me. I am a huge fan of hers. I have watched her ever since I can remember. I don't just watch her work on T.V. I have read books and bought her memorabilia. Every time I watch an episode of my favorite show I don't stop laughing. Lucille Ball I award you a trophy for the best actress.

The nominations for the best actors of the current generation are plenteous. Tom Hanks has left an indelible mark on the acting landscape of the current generation. He was absolutely remarkable as the mentally challenged character Forrest Gump. He also was the first actor in over sixty years to back to back Oscars. Other very capable recipients could be Will Smith, because he is box office gold, Russell Crowe for being larger than life in just about every role that he has ever undertaken, and even Mel Gibson for his big budget masterpieces. The award for the Best Actor of the Current Generation will go to Denzel Washington. Denzel has done nothing except make important and very relevant movies. Even if his movies aren't necessarily "important" or about real people, they are still extremely engaging, because he is dynamite in every role that he takes while also stealing every scene in which takes part.

The award itself will look very similar to the actual Oscar, but will show in writing on the stand that this award is a lifetime achievement equivalent. Denzel has earned this 13 karat gold statuette for his service to the industry and the paying public.

Denzel Washington has had numerous special roles. His first major undertaking was "Cry Freedom," the story of social activist Steve Biko. His first Oscar was won from his work in the film "Glory." He was a soldier in the first black Civil War unit known as Private Trip. He also later went on to play Malcolm X. His work was impeccable and went down as one of the biggest surprises when he did not win the Oscar for Best Actor. Horrible Skateboard grind

Now this is a really bad skateboarding grind this is why most people say that they will never skate and i do not blame them after this video. And i do not know who this is becaues they do not have the name of the person that had this horrible pain as you can see and it also dose not have any info on where it was but i do not know if i would want every one to know if that was me. But it is really funny the way they do not really do not know how to skate and they go up and try something that they can not do. That is how you know that it is going to be funny and yes that was just like me i tryed to do stuff that i have never did and i was just starting to skate and i had bad falls but not as bad as some of the people out here.

22 Rock Heroes You Just Don't Get

Entertainment Weekly.com recently published an article on their website entitled 22 Rock Heroes You Just Don't Get. This list intrigued me, so I figured it was worth a look. I assume that this article is probably in this month's magazine as well.

I must admit that the list poked fun at some of the bands that I actually like. The list kicks off with Rush, and I must admit that outside of a couple of songs, I am not a huge fan. They go on to mention people like The Dave Matthews Band, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, The Beatles, and Aretha Franklin. As a fan of music, I was actually appreciative of this list, because they weren't afraid to kick some of the most influential rock artists right in the teeth. This list got me thinking about artists that I would put on this list. Who were artists that I just didn't get? What artists do I not understand why people think their music is so good? I now put the task in front of myself to come up with my own rock artists without looking to the list. Without further discussion, here is my list (not in any particular order) of the artists that I just don't get.

1. Pink Floyd: Why are they good? Nothing stands out about their music.
2. Cher: There is absolutely no reason why anybody should buy any of her music.
3. Alice Cooper: He is all show and no substance.
4. Celine Dion: Her voice has been known to make her young kids cry. DITTO!
5. Elton John: What can he do that Billy Joel doesn't do better?
6. Boston: Did they have more than three songs?
7. Neil Diamond: He is no more a musical pioneer than I am the Queen of England!
8. Nickelback: The lead singer can't sing, and EACH SONG IS THE SAME!!!!!!
9. Motley Crue: Can somebody tell me why people like these guys?
10. Rod Stewart: Why do or did women find him even slightly attractive?

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is a rock band from Agoura Hills, California. Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold more than fifty million albums and won two Grammy Awards. They achieved mainstream success with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, Which was certified Daimond by the RIAA in 2005. Their following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the billboard 200,'s album chart in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world. the band moved away from this and explored a variety of other genres in their latest studio album, Minutes To Midnight.


Linkin Park is a good band and i have listened to them for a quite a long time now. I think their best album is in between Hybrid Theory and Minutes To Midnight. They are both really good albums, Plus i own both of them. My favorite songs are Papercut, Points Of Authority, and Bleed It Out. They're a good band and they make good music too.

THE ROCKER

A new featured film will be released August 1st, 2008 in theaters. The Rocker is comedy where a 1980's drummer is given a second chance at fame. When Robert Fishman was the drummer for Vesuvius in the 1980's he was very dedicated and passionate about what he did. Then Robert's rock 'n' roll dream was crushed when he is kicked out of the band. Twenty years later just when Robert has lost all hope, he hears that his nephew's high school rock band A.D.D. is looking for a new drummer. The band decides to make Fishman their drummer, giving him a chance to reclaim the rock throne that he's always thought he deserved. Taking A.D.D. along for the rides of their life.

The Rocker was produced in the United States. The distributors are 20th Century Fox. Starring in The Rocker is: Rainn Wilson, Christina Applegate, Jane Lynch, and Josh Gad.

The Rocker looks funny. I would like to see this movie. If I get to see it I hope I could watch it with my dad. My dad was an 80's drummer himself that's why I think that he would like it.

Don Cheadle, famous Hollywood on many short lists of active greats, was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 29, 1964. Cheadle is an actor of the highest quality. He was born to a child psychologist father and a bank manager mother. They definitely were not on the poor side of things.

He had many interests as a child. Besides performing, which he started at the age of five, he was also strongly interested in Jazz music. By the time that he had graduated from high school, he had scholarships for both acting and music schools. He chose acting. It is a good thing that he did.

He is first famous for being a movie star. His hit film, Hotel Rwanda, has recently been included at #90 on AFI's 100 most inspiring films. Without question, this film is the crowning achievement of his still developing film career. The first film to feature than just a token appearance was "Hamburger Hill," a 1987 Vietnam War film that deals with an actual battle of the same name. His future seems limitless. He is also now an advocate for the ending of the actions in Darfur.

What I Think: I think he's pretty awesome, and I like his music. It's about the only rap that I'll actually listen to.

He was around music all of his life and it was hard for him to decide what he wanted his name to be and he did not want to be called a thug so his friends at the studio said Chingy has a good ring to it so that is what every one stared to call him. his mama was working and my father was hustlin'.... he said that they did not have much but they had some things, then his parents fond out he was writing rhymes when he was just a teen and then his parents had put him in a recording studio so he can be recording and that is were his mom was working at the recording studio. She had to clean up the recording studio and that is how recording became easy to him then he got his big deal with Nelly going on the road with him and then Ludacris singed him to his record deal. All he did as a kid was staying in the recording studios so he can he the people sing and thats why he said i love the sound of music. The song that he got big on was "Right Thurr," it hit the top 5 in the top 100 charts but then he got in to it with the record company. Then he went to Record company--Capitol Records. And he has not had a problem with them yet.

I think he is a grate singer and he has some good songs out. And he has his up and downs just like every one in the singing career. And he has really good taste in cars and pimping them out. And that is all i really have to say about him.

She is mainly know as the President of Baby Phat, a brand of clothes and such. She married Russell Simmons in 1998 and they are now divorced, but still work together. She was born in St. Louis, MO on May 3rd, 1975. Her mother is a former Social Security Administrator. As a child she was called "Chinky Giraffe" because of her height and Asian ethnic background. HAHA! She went to Lutheran North High School. Her mother is Korean and Japanese, and her father is African American. So she is really mixed. By the age of 10, she had grown to a height of 5 feet, 10 inches. Can we say TALL much? She was always self concious for being bi-racial. That is bullcrap! The more the better if you ask me. [= At 13 she had a contract for modeling for Coco Chanel. At 15 she bought herself a used BMW. She got into an accident and has to get 40 stitches in her face. OUCH! Ha. John Goodman was Roseanne's husband, Fred Flintstone, and a monster ,but what you might not know is that he was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born June 20th, 1952. Goodman is 56 right now. In the late 1970's he moved to New York to find work as an actor. By the mid-1980's Goodman was on Broadway. Goodman was in the original cast for the 1985 Big River. He was starting his career by getting parts in movies, T.V. commercails, and T.V. shows. When he played the role of Dan Connor on Roseanne as a husband and father that was how he became famous. John Goodman is mostly famous for comedy. Yet he has played dramatic roles as well, including The Babe as Babe Ruth, Bringing Out the Dead as Nicolas Cage's partner, and as Bobby Darin's friend in Beyond the Sea. Ever since 1989 he has been a host and a guest on Saturday Night Live. John Goodman has been in 102 productions. During his career he's won the Golden Globe and another 7 wins and 18 nominations.

John Goodman makes a good Fred Flintstone. I like him better in comedies. I think they suit him. When he is an animatd character like in The Emperor's New Groove he still shows great success.


John Goodman's father was a postal worker ,but he had a heart attack when John was only 2 years old. His mother was a BBQ joint waitress raising three children on her own. John was very devoted to football. He earned a football scholarship to Southwest Missouri State Univerity. Goodman got injured and that ended his chance of having a professional sports career. What i think about Cedric The Entertainer: I think Cedric The Entertainer is a very funny comedian. He does song and dance with his stand-up shows to make it just that much more entertaining and hilarious. He is one of the funniest comics that i've seen. I want to see him do a live show that would be much better than watching him on t.v.
