"The Moment of Truth" is a simple game in which the knowledge of movie stars. The play is fun, and the atmosphere is even better. In the fun and exciting game, contestants will be give factoids about choice movies stars. They have to say which of those factoids is incorrect.
Rules of Play1) Each contestant will be given an empty bank as the game begins. They will be given introductory questions that link stars with movies. They will recieve ten questions of name that lead star. Here is a sampling:
--Edward Scissorhands A. Johnny Depp
--National Treasure A. Nicolas Cage
--Forrest Gump A. Tom Hanks
For every correct answer in this portion of the show each contestant will receive $1,000 to add to their bank.
2) The host will take turns asking each contestant questions about the movie stars.
3) The answers will be revealed by the guest movie star that appears behind the curtain listening in on the question.
4) Each correct answer means $5,000 added to the bank. A maximum of $25,000 can be earned.
5) An incorrect answer will leave the contestant with two options: take the money so far and leave the show, because the questions get progressively harder or pay $2,000 earned from the beginning of the show to have the chance to keep going.
6) The money leader will get the chance to achieve $100,000 after answering a series of ten rapid fire questions about a big name iconic movie director.
7) The director will ask the questions in the lightning round.
8) The winner will get their choice of a new car, an all expenses paid vacation, or $50,000 cold hard cash.
9) The winner (if all ten are answered correctly) picks a blank envelope from the slits cut into the side of a megaphone.
The set will be dimly lit with spotlights to add to the drama of a show. After all, it is based on Hollywood. Every contestant will be seated on a director's chair. The plush carpet will be soft under the host's feet. The title of the show will be on a mock marquee sign and lights placed back center stage.
