BATMAN AND ROBIN

Batman and his sidekick Robin battle Mr. Freeze and the green-thumbed Poison Ivy in Gotham City ,but before the two villains team up they try to do a good deed. In trying to save his wife Mr. Victor Freeze has an accident and he no longer can stand moderate temperatures. While Dr. Pamela Isley is trying to save the Earth she is mutated with a plant DNA in the jungle laboratory and now becomes Poison Ivy. Besides the fact that Mr. Freeze wants another Ice Age and Ivy wants a world safe for plants, Batman and Robin's butler Alfred's motorcycle-obsessed niece decides to move and join in on the family fun by becoming Batgirl. Also, Alfred is having trouble with the same terminal disease as Mr. Freeze's wife. This fighting crime sequel to Batman Forever is awesome.

Batman and Robin is my favorite Batman movie. I really like this movie. I think that George Clooney makes a good Batman. In fact I think that all of the actors and actresses play their part very well especially Arnold Schwarzenegger. Arnold is a great Mr. Freeze. I enjoy all 2 hours and 5 minutes of it.

I recommend this movie to any Batman fan. No matter if you are a fan of the comic books or you are a little kid that likes to see a superhero save the world.

The Cell

I just saw this movie all the way through last weekend. I watched it like five times. The director Tarsem Singh and the writer Mark Protosevich certainly have an imagination. The movie is about an FBI agent (Vince Vaughn) on the hunt for a serial killer that kidnaps young women, puts them in a fully-automated "aquarium" ,and leaves them there, with the aquarium set up to slowly fill up with water, torturing the victim. The aquarium is known as "the cell."
After the victim has drowned, he takes them home and bleaches them out to make them look like dolls. Then he dumps the body off wherever he feels necessary. The schizophrenic serial killer is known as Carl Rudolph Stargher(Vincent D'Onofrio). Unfortunately for the FBI, Carl has just captured his latest victim, but has reached the "infraction" in his form of schizophrenia, and therefore is unable to tell police just where Julia Hickson(Tara Subkoff) is. Carl suffers from a form of schizophrenia known as "Whelan's Infraction"-in which one affected by it would "disappear" mentally, and never be able to wake up- and he ends up in a comatose-state.

"This thing is caused by a virus... that infects the neurologicalsystem in utero.
It lays dormant... until it's triggered by some kind of trauma.
Most likely, he's exhibited symptoms for some time... but the infraction,or the breach... didn't occur until today. The triggers can vary.Uh, usually water-related,but the results don't vary.
He's not just catatonic. He's disappeared-- like having a dream and never waking up."
- Dr. Reid(Pruitt Taylor Vince)

Peter Novak(Vince Vaughn) goes to psychotherapist Catherine Deane(Jennifer Lopez) as the last possible solution to save Julia Hickson from her watery-fate. Catherine participates in an experimental procedure that allows her to enter the minds of people and experience what they're thinking and feeling, like it's real. Once she enters the twisted mind of Carl, though, she becomes lost in a world that she believes is real. She finds that Carl was a victim of his father's abuse for many years, and that his desire to play with dolls as a child ultimately led to his "bleaching" idea. Novak has to journey into Carl's mind in order to save Catherine, and thus he discovers the location of the victim. While he heads out to save Julia, Catherine decides to bring carl into her mind, and he tells her to drown him, because it's better that way. She complies, Julia is found in the nick of time, and all is well again, for all of them.

-I think it's a good movie, it may seem a little weird at first, but it's good.

-I would reccomend this to any serial-killer-movie-fans, but I wouldn't reccomend it to the faint of heart, or those who're creeped out easily by eccentric things.

Shantaram

Release Date: Fall 2008 (estimated)
Director: Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding, The Namesake)
Writer: Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, Munich)
Cast: Johnny Depp

Based on the novel by Gregory David Roberts, Shantaram follows a heroin addict incarcerated for a robbery escapes prison and reinvents himself as a doctor in the slums of Bombay; his ties to the crime underworld there lead him to Afghanistan, where he partners with a mob boss locked in a battle with Russian criminals.

Other cast members: Amitabh Bachchan as Khader Bhai, Irfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, etc.

Trivia:Pre-production had to be delayed due to the writer's strike in 2007/08.

Russell Crowe was keen to play the lead in this film. But Johnny Depp had already acquired the rights to the book.

Russell Crowe was so excited about this project, that when he heard that Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil Production had bought the rights to the book at a whopping $2 million, he offered to be the executive producer just to be a part of the film.

Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of a gangster with morals.

Mira Nair has said that it would be a dream come true to have both Johnny Depp and Amitabh Bachchan in the same movie.

I'd like to watch this movie because I like movies about prison escapees and I also like movies about mobsters, and I would like to see Johnny Depp's performance in this type of movie.

Taylor Swift Announces her crush!!!!

Taylor Swift Announces her crush!!!!

Taylor Swift like most other teenage girls has had a crush on a country music celebrity. On June 11, 2008 Taylor Swift sat down with Lorianne Crook the host of CMA Celebrity close up session at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. She said "I was in love with all of the members of Hanson." She told the host that she thought she was going to marry the middle one because his name was Taylor, too. But realized that wouldn't happen after finding out that he got married in 2002, and now has three kids. She said she got to meet him and his wife a few weeks back. She said they are very nice people. She also said that she tried to tell him about her crush on him without creeping him out.

JAMIE KENNEDY ON "GHOST WHISPERER"

Jamie Kennedy, who has appeared in various comedies and produced and starred in his own show, will be a regular in the CBS drama Ghost Whisperer. He will be playing the part of a graduate student in psychology who forms a bond with Jennifer Love Hewitt's character Melinda. Kennedy will be on board just before Jay Mohr leaves.

I have never actually sat down and watched Ghost Whisperer. I have seen bits and pieces of some episodes ,but nothing major. I probably won't ever watch it. Earthbound spirits don't really interest me that much. Maybe Jamie Kennedy will improve the show. Who knows?

The Rising Price of Gas and Dirty Tomatoes

Gasoline is up to $4.06 per gallon now nationwide. This is scary, because the economy is going to keep getting worse. The one thing that could ruin America is the economy, because we are still strong everywhere else. What type of world will my kids be raised in? There is a bill being put before Congress right now that is pushing for off shore drilling in Alaska. I see this as being long overdue. The Liberal Democrats are saying that drilling in Alaska wold be harmful to the environment. Not that I don't care about the environment, but I think we have bigger things to worry about than homes for squirrels. The opponents of this bill also say that the economic help at the gas pump won't be felt for a while. I say SO WHAT!!!! At least it will be felt. The economic stimulus checkes are silly in nature. Don't let me get started on that subject. I like receiving money in the mail from the government for doing nothing. Yikes, that makes me sound like a freeloader!! All that is supposed to do is appease people. That isn't going to jumpstart the economy.

I hate tomatoes, and I will always hate tomatoes. The fact that tomatoes now have been found to be tainted with Salmonella now adds fuel to my fire. I had to give a sarcastic laugh when I heard that the Food and Drug Administration issued a statement saying that they don't even have enough money to launch a full scale investigation! You mean to tell me that a government agency is running short on money?!?!?!? Welcome to Cuba boys and girls!

SCOOBY DOO

Scooby doo has had two movies come out, now the movie producers are throwing out yet another one. They haven't given out very much information but they are producing it in hollywood, but in the movie they are saying that fred and daphne are going to get married but i hope that they don't.I mean it would they are really good right now but if they did that it would tear the gang apart, it would would be horrible.

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus

With the sudden death of actor Heath Ledger, who where they going to replace him with? Well...Johnny Depp of course, along with Colin Farrel and Jude law, all three are gorgeous men. Haha. The movie is about a man who once won a bet with the Devil, and possesses the unique ability to guide the imagination of others. Many centuries ago, Dr. Parnassus won immortality in a bet that found the malevolent Mr. Nick coming up short. While few would be foolish enough to try their luck against the powers of the prince of darkness a second time, Dr. Parnassus did exactly this. He decided to time trade his mortality for youth on the understanding that his firstborn would become the property of Mr. Nick when the child reaches his or her 16th birthday. Flash-forward to the present day, and Dr. Parnassus' daughter, Valentina is about to celebrate her sweet sixteen. Dr. Parnassus is desperate to save his little girl from her fiery fate, and when Mr. Nick arrives to collect, the good doctor presents the Prince of Darkness with a wager too good to pass up. Dr. Parnassus and Mr. Nick will each compete to seduce five souls, with possession of Valentina going to whomever manages to complete the task first. As the competition begins to heat up, Dr. Parnassus promises his daughter's hand in marriage to any man who can help him successfully win the bet.

I think I shall go and see this movie. I think it is going to be funny watching how in one scene it is Heath, then all of a sudden it is Johnny Depp or one of the other two. I'll be all like "HAHA, Heath had to be replaced because he croaked!" Yes, I know I am evil, but my aunt and grandpa made me like that. Not blaming them but yeah. My heart is cold so...yeap.

Phobias (Phobophobia- the fear of phobias)

If I was afflicted with Heliophobia, I'd be like a vampire, or a hibernating hermit, and I'd never have contact with the world until it was nighttime, long after sunset. I'd better hope that I'm not also magically afraid of the dark!

I fear heights and insects. I'm not sure why I'm afraid of heights, but I used to get stung and bitten a lot when I was little. Also it freaks me out when one crawls on me, it feels weird. I like to torture bugs, use a pair of pliers to put them in spider's webs, light them on fire, anything except step on them, because I don't want their guts/innards on my shoe. Ewww!

I think that it's strange for Pamela Anderson to be afraid of mirrors, because I'd assume that she'd be vain, that she'd always be checking herself out in the mirror. How the hellk does she put on makeup? Does someone always do her makeup for her? How did this fear arise?
